WRGB
WRGB on channel 6, is a television station located in Schenectady, New York. It is owned by the Sinclair Broadcast Group. WRGB is famous for being among the first experimental television stations in the world. Their first broadcasts were test broadcasts in early 1928. A few months later their first daily programs were broadcasted. They would only ever have a few minutes of broadcasting per day at the time because they were still testing and experimenting. For example, the image of "Felix the Cat" spinning on a turn table would play for two hours a day. In October 2006 WRGB changed its on air name to "CBS 6" after years of being known as "TV 6" and "Channel 6". To this day CBS is one of the most popular TV stations playing shows like "NCIS", "Two and a Half Men", "The Big Bang Theory" and much more.
